Arizona Rangers collection, 1901-1909, 1958-1970 (bulk 1958-1970).

The collection is chiefly from the second group of Arizona Rangers and consists of correspondence between companies and group headquarters, minutes from various companies, handbooks of the Rangers' Code, and a scrapbook of news clippings, arm patches, and other materials. Photocopies of materials are present from Copeland's research of the earlier Arizona Rangers group including copies of by-laws, reports of arrest, biographical information, and a historical overview.

H. Stuart Copeland was Historian for the second Arizona Rangers group when it reorganized in 1957. The Arizona Rangers were organized, 1901-1909, to combat organized banditry in Arizona Territory.
